| This thing was the highlight of the weekend. There is a rock in the middle, with these other mollusks stuck onto it and each other. They were squiggling around the sand, all moving in unison, like a creature from outerspace. It is impossible to imagine, and I didn't have video with me. Keep your eyes peeled next time you are on the north shore. |

I love that pink/blue chair pic - would really like to be sitting in one of them now with a bbq warming up in the background...
The guy in the house came out when he saw me taking the picture and we had a long talk about the history of his house. His chairs were inspired by a trip to Nova Scotia where Adirondack chairs are painted all colors, and they were featured on the cover of one of the local magazines last summer. He was very proud.
Is this Long Island?
Yes, long island. North fork. Lovely scenery but if you talk to too many people you remember that you are still in Long Island.
