hi Jill. I respect your comment over at EV Grieve re not being comfortable photographing the homeless man at Starbucks. EV doesn't do it, but many bloggers like to shoot and post photos of the homeless. They think they are exposing some crime (and it is a crime), but I always feel that it's invading a person's privacy to photograph him or her in such a vulnerable moment. Kudos

I wasn't meaning to criticize the person who took the photo (you?), just commenting about how difficult I find it to do it. In fact when I meet a photographer it's usually my first question -- what tactics do they use up to photograph people? I find it so potentially confrontational and scary, and I'm too shy to ask permission. I see so many great photos go by because I'm too timid to take them if they have people in them.

Just noticing that the right inch or two of your YouTube video window usually gets cut off when it displays in IE and Firefox.
