A great Butthole Surfers show last night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Paul Leary was, as usual, mind blowingly great. Gibby had more personality at this show than the last time we saw them in Austin. He seemed more relaxed and enjoying himself. The only thing missing this year in their lineup is Theresa on drums. The double drumming is a whole other can of worms that is missing. Plus, there was a fake new year's with balloons dropping, and all in all, a great time was had by all.

ps ya know I had to evacuate from my loft on ave D back in 1989 due to a dispute over the wisdom of allowing Kathleen L (the naked dancer) to crash on our floor there.
Oh Peter you have a story there that needs to be told! There is someone writing a book about BHS, you can find it in the forum on their website. I am certain they are looking for all kinds of stories about run-ins with the band.
I'm going to see them in LA and Las Vegas at the end of August. They are coming to SF too first week of Sept.
Hello mate, great blog
