Last weekend, after listening to the newly remastered version of the Beastie Boy's Paul's Boutique cd we wound up strolling past the corner of Ludlow & Rivington Streets where the cover photography was taken in 1989 when the album was first released. I snapped some shots of those same 4 corners. Matching up the new photos to the old was not easy. Unfortunately I don't have a wide angle lens, making it more difficult and less satisfying. I hope somebody else, with a better camera, would take up this challenge. (Also, the original album photos are not all clear, scans are below)

Ah yes, sanitized and safe for suburban consumption. Nice work, btw.
If you are ever in the market for a new digi-cam, I love my wide-angle Lumix and it only set me back $149.
