Woe is ME

I thought I would come home tonight and find my bedroom wall painted a nice, terra cotta color, specially picked from Home Depot. As of last night the walls were primed and sanded, so the next step is color, right? Well, it's right only if your husband doesn't see every blank space as a canvas waiting for inspiration. He can't stop thinking of underpainting.
