Despite the proliferation of Chico murals, East 6th Street is truly a lovely street. I am jealous of those who get to live on such a wonderful street. The gardens are well manicured, the murals are not covered over and it is where you can get a private taste of giant weeping willows. Head north on Ave. C and the willows are closer to the street, when you realize that you are now in the flood zone (Ave B is the dividing line between definite evacuation and possible evacuation). They are fabulous and gorgeous and if I had to live in a tree house, these are the trees I would choose.
