What cheered me up was reading about my cousin and his family who are in Korea (military). I wish I could link to the blog but it is closed to strangers, I'm not exactly sure why. I have been following their adventures with their 3 little kids for the past year. Hilarious moments included buying a toaster that was in what appeared to be a sealed box (ie brand new) but upon opening it they found crumbs in the bottom and a random phone cord in the box. They bought a car that had no driver's seat and there has also been a lot of mystery meat.
But this week's post really had me laughing. There is an amusement park called Everland that they have gone to a couple of times. (Link to the website and read all about it, more hysterics will ensue. Particularly engaging is the description of the zoo - or zoon. It's an entire compendia of bad English that can only come from Asia. While instruction booklets have been upgraded in recent years, Everland's website remains as a monument to our lingual differences.) The photos are priceless. There is Canine Village that has dogs roaming around what looks like a big gymnasium, a parade featuring fake flowers, no barriers between the humans and the tigers, and then this priceless gem of a sign.
It is never to early to teach about suffering.

I am so glad you blogged about this - it is just HILARIOUS. I love that post...how about the jackass penguin and the sweat soda? love it!
The thing that people seem to be missing is that there is an actual bird called the jackass penguin. It's not made up... I've seen them in real life in South Africa.
You should go back and read about our first trip to Everland. Not as funny but they have a version of "It's a Small World" that is "not quite right."
