Go back a few weeks when the leaves were turning splendid colors, it rained suddenly and hard, there was a Dewali celebration, we had one of the last crab dinners at the long open and now sadly closed Obrycki's, our hotel was straight out of The Wire, the toilet function was super-futuristic, and the son seemed settled and doing well in college. What more could one ask for?  Ok, I can think of plenty, but for this moment I can happily say that this weekend was wonderful.
