Easter at Chimayo

Several thousands of people walk to Chimayo for Easter as some sort of penance. I prefer to drive. With air conditioning. We got lucky and saw a youth group staging the Twelve Stations of the Cross. These kids were performing this dozens of times between Ash Wednesday and Easter, so they were by this time, professionals. The blood, the gore, the whipping, what an action packed story.

Wow. That's pretty exotic. America is a strange place.

America is a fundamentalist country, just like all those other strange places that we live in fear of.

I live in fear of them and us. All crazy as batpoop.
