A Day In Queens

In defiance of the hot weather and standing outside for more time than is comfortable, we went to Flushing Meadow Park to play a round of mini-golf. I write about it here because I won! Since I rarely win anything that has to do with sports, or any other game that involves winning and losing, this is an exciting day for me.
And what is a day in Flushing Meadow without some Ecuadorian bbq, otherwise known to most kindergardeners as Guinea Pig.
And the Lemon Ice King which always makes me think of my grandparents who took me here on rare special occasions.
And finding a satisfying dig at the MTA posted inside a subway station, on their own paperwork.
