I heard through the Facebook grapevine, then confirmed with some of the organizers, that neighborhood teens are planning to plan a day to provide volunteer delivery service via skateboard to help increase sales for this troubled East Village institution. Ray is behind in his rent and the landlord has made numerous threats to lock him out. Best milkshake in the neighborhood.

Update: the plan is to offer delivery service for several weekends. If all goes as planned, they will be promoting it at the fundraiser next Saturday at Sidewalk.
