Cat Food Store

In the last couple of weeks, the husband, who has the primary responsibility in our household to buy the groceries, mentioned that our cats are eating faster than he can shop for them. He complained that we were constantly out of cat food, and asked that if I was ever in the store I should pick up a couple cans. The logic was that if we both did this, there would always be an ample supply of cat food and the issue of carrying large volumes of canned goods up 76 steps would be lessened. This is the same method we use to keep seltzer in stock (buy at least one every time you're in the store so you never have to carry too many of them up the stairs). I was all on board with the cat food because it is small, and truth be told, I never buy seltzer, it always tips the balance unfavorably to where I can no longer comfortably carry my envirosax.

Today I opened the door where we keep said cat food, and found that we own pretty much every can of cat food that Friskies has ever manufactured. The husband, however, is STILL buying a couple cans a day, because I guess he is preparing for the apocalypse.
