Oktoberbest
Oktoberfest at the El Sol Briliante garden was a great success despite the chill. I wasn't there too long, but I was there for the best part, when all of 12th Street were captivated by the band, the Stumblebums. The singer, photographed below, had one unbelievable voice, somewhere between Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong, and he also played a mean trumpet. When these guys are earning their millions, I will be pleased to say I saw them way back when.

That band was great!
The boys at Ciao for Now said they know them from the subway...I'd like to know which station they play at, that would make the travel to/from work a lot more bearable!
