On a lovely autumn Saturday, beer fans lined up ... to drink beer.
Here they are, by the hundreds, waiting their turn to get into Zum Schneider on Avenue C. And here they are, by the thousands, eating oysters and drinking Irish beer on Stone Street.
What is the deal with Zum Schneider? Was the beer free? I mean it not like there are not a billion other place to get beer. People sure like to get drunk I guess. I never have quite figured that one out.

I'm with Larry on Zum Schneider. I don't get the appeal either.
