The super put these notices in our door today. We must be careful of a rash of break-ins "in the area" but they didn't make any attempt to fix the front door or roof door locks. I guess I'll have to stop keeping my apartment door and window gates unlocked all night. I will also stop my habit of inviting in strangers who hang out on the stoop, or those that sleep in front of the empty storefronts that they refuse (or now can't) rent out.
