It's a What?!

Last night my 14 year old son was writing a paper on the book they are reading in English, one I had never read, nor heard of. I consider myself fairly literary but there are clearly gaps in my education. This was one of them.

As I glanced over his shoulder I noticed that most of what he was writing about was dreams. When I asked him what the book was about, his answer, in the tone of 'are you an idiot?' was, "It's a Jungian allegory."

Duh.
